“Oh kiddies… The new track, ‘Pop’ from Grindhouse is gooooood. A slow simmering hard rock burner that just gleams with greatness. The execution of this track is one of sorcery — an exceptional release with soaring vocals, meandering bass lines, drum fills at every turn, and a bridge section with six-string acrobatics that is just jaw-dropping. Easily one of the best tracks of the year… catch ‘Pop’ on your Home for the Best New Rock… W-J-O-EEEE!”

“Grindhouse - Pop “And if time heals all wounds, then why do I still bleed?" It’s not just that this is a beautiful line (though it is) or that the vocal double tracking is so perfect (though it is)... It’s that we can hear it so clearly amidst everything else going on. The guitar solo afterward is mind-blowing. I could analyze every bar and find such magic. Power and precision, energy and melody... this has to be one of the most skillfully produced rock songs we've ever heard. A stone-cold classic. ❤️”

Our Story
the early 90's
'Big Ole Pickle'
Grindhouse was born out of Eastern North Carolina in the early 90s, touring across the East Coast during the hey day of Grunge and Alternative music. Writing all original music and releasing their now legendary underground demo tape 'Big Ole Pickle' to all of their friends and followers, Grindhouse gained a loyal following in their home state of North Carolina before life took over and brought the ride to an end in 1995.
And a chance reunion
Fast forward to 2023, when a loss of a long time friend prompted a request for a "reunion show" in his memory. Grindhouse hit the stage after a 30 year absence with a huge catalog of original music and was reborn. Later in 2023 Grindhouse launched it's first single "Vacant", followed closely in 2024 by "Evergreen" and "Amercian Anthem" garnering over 150,000 views on YouTube and relaunching the musical journey of these lifelong friends.

“Evergreen - From the the powerful vocals and the all out rockstar performance of the band, this beautiful message of hope and change hits plenty hard enough to make you want to jump in the car, turn it up loud, and feel good about it.” - Cinco Dave- On the Air Tonight

“Vacant is a track with some very powerful lyrics and I love how Grindhouse constructed Vacant. The music is as powerful as the words in the song. I absolutely loved it as soon as I heard Vacant. It takes a lot of work to make the music and the lyrics powerful, Grindhouse did just that.” - Miss Hyde
